Cops: Man Robs Hicksville Store at Knifepoint

Nassau Police are requesting the public’s help in identifying and locating the man they say robbed a Hicksville store at knifepoint Wednesday evening.

Detectives say the man, armed with a knife, entered the Metro PCS at 55C Broadway at 6:35 p.m., approached the clerk and demanded money. After the clerk complied, the man fled, heading south on Broadway with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No injuries were reported, police said.
