Doggie Runway Show, Pet Expo, Coming To Farmingdale
The fifth annual showcase is scheduled for this weekend. Here is how to attend.
FARMINGDALE, NY — The fifth annual Doggie RunwayShow & Pet Expo is coming to the Farmingdale Village Green. The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday and will be hosted by the Farmingdale Breakfast Rotary Club.
The event will feature a runway show, blessing of the dogs participating, dog awards and treats. The show is a fundraiser for the Farmingdale Breakfast Rotary Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that awards scholarships to Farmingdale graduating high school students and funds various community projects.
The event is due to be held rain or shine, and the entry fee is $10 per dog.

A doggie costume contest is slated for after the parade. Dogs will be judged on categories like most patriotic, best famous character and scariest.
