Republican Kemp Hannon has won a seat in the State Senate.
Hannon has defeated Democrat Ryan E. Cronin in race for the 6th District seat, according to unofficial results from the Nassau Board of Elections.
With all districts reporting, Hannon won by a margin of 67,455-57,621.
