"Something that my family and I strive to do in our businesses is to constantly be innovating new ideas," Jenna Napolitano, owner of Elise's Niece's Cafe, told Patch. "The winter months tend to require a little bit more creativity to provide entertainment and excitement for our customers and community and to bring people in the shop. We have a great outdoor space but find it hard to utilize it during the winter months. Therefore, we started to think outside the box about outdoor theme events that go hand in hand with being outside in the winter time. Hence, an Apres Ski event!"

The cafe will have festive sweets such as hot cocoa cookies, s’mores whoopie pies, Bailey's chocolate cake and drinks from coffee and hot cocoa to beer, wine, and champagne, Napolitano said. A live DJ will play '80s hits, and there will be a vintage ski chair for photo-ops.

"And of course, Back In Time will have plenty of new 2024 merchandise for people to shop around!" Napolitano said.

Participants were encouraged to dress up in their best ski gear attire, as there will be prizes for best dressed.

The rain date is scheduled for noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. The cafe will let people know on its social media and send out emails to subscribers should it need the rain date.
