Farmingdale is 2nd Luckiest Town in New York, Website Says

Have you ever wondered which Long Island towns have the best luck when it comes to winning the lotto?

Well, even if you haven’t, RoadSnacks says it has figured it out. The “infotainment” website says it has determined the luckiest towns in New York based on population numbers and winning New York Lottery results. Four Long Island towns made the list of the 10 luckiest in New York, with New Hyde Park coming in at No. 1 and Farmingdale at No. 2.

“Right next door to New Hyde Park is Farmingdale, which had the most big lottery winners in the entire state, period. Here, you have a 1 in 1,500 chance of winning $25,000 or more every year,” RoadSnacks says about Farmingdale. Of course that’s only if you play the lotto.

3. Webster
4. Depew
5. Middletown
6. New Windsor
7. Wappingers Falls
8. Pelham
9. Lindenhurst
10. Westbury
