Farmingdale Applebee's Raises Over $3,800 For Toys For Tots

The money was raised through their annual Breakfast with Santa event.

A local Applebee's restaurant raised over $3,800 for the Toys for Tots program held over the holidays.

The Farmingdale restaurant, located on 200 Airport Plaza raised a total of $3,896 for the program through their annual Breakfast with Santa event.

The company presented a check for $92,912 to the U.S. Marines Corps in support of its Toys for Tots program.

The program benefits underprivileged children in local communities during the holiday season.

Over the past 18 years, Applebee’s locations in Florida, Georgia, New Jersey and Long Island donated have raised more than $4.1 million for the Toys for Tots initiative, helping to spread holiday cheer to over 230,000 deserving children.

The combined total of the 2016 Breakfast with Santa fundraisers held across the U.S. was $264,723.
