Farmingdale Elementary School Students Learn with 21st Century Teaching Tools

The Farmingdale School District recently introduced first-grade students at Albany Avenue Elementary School to Google Classroom as part of a Districtwide initiative that is intended to teach students of all ages how to use 21st century education tools in the classroom.

Google Classroom helps teachers create classes, distribute assignments, send feedback and see everything in one place instantly. In addition to benefiting the students’ educational experience, the program is also intended to help maximize classroom time, improve efficiencies and protect the environment by saving paper via distributing assignments digitally. Thanks to the District’s forward-thinking approach to technology, teachers are able to provide individualized, direct, real-time feedback for each student in the class.
