Farmingdale Elementary School Students Use Modern Tech Tools to Study the Past

As part of the Farmingdale School District’s commitment to providing students the best educational tools available in the 21st century, Saltzman Elementary School students recently learned about history using state-of-the-art technologies and educational material. During a lesson on Native Americans, students used digital education tools TrueFlix and World Book to research different cultures, view maps, watch multimedia clips and read primary and secondary source literature side-by-side on District-provided tablets. By enabling students to reach high-quality, educational material digitally the Farmingdale School District is not only improving students’ educational experience but also preparing students to learn in the modern age.
