Farmingdale Elementary School Welcomes New Principal… for One Day Only!
Saltzman Elementary School Student Experiences Life as a Principal
The Farmingdale School District’s Saltzman East Elementary School recently gave one student the opportunity to experience life as a principal, for one day only, as part of a Farmingdale School District initiative to teach students about effectively handling responsibilities. The “Principal for a Day” was selected during a Parent-Teacher Association raffle. Third grade student Adam Schneider was the lucky student, and took his new responsibilities very seriously.
“Principal Schneider” attended classes, worked with students, made announcements and helped organize and oversee school activities during his one day as principal. Throughout the day he shadowed Saltzman Elementary School Principal Patricia O'Regan, helping students during classes and assisting administrators in their daily tasks.
