Farmingdale High School Announces Valedictorian

Samuel Croes Valedictorian for 2016-2017 School Year

Farmingdale High School recently announced the top graduating student for the 2016-2017 academic year. Samuel Croes achieved the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) of the 2017 graduating class with a weighted average of 105.91. Croes is a Cross Country Track Captain, a National Merit Scholarship Commended Student, an AP Scholar with Honors, a Band Section Leader, an All-State alternate clarinetist, Treasurer of the National Honor Society, the Treasurer of the Spanish Honor Society and the Science Bowl Co-captain. Croes plans to attend Brown University after graduation to study molecular biology.
