Farmingdale School District’s Farmingdale High School senior, Veronica Sack, was recently chosen as one of the winners of the Town of Oyster Bay Arts Council’s 2016 Scholarship Program. The Town of Oyster Bay Arts Council’s mission is to provide a forum to promote, publicize and stimulate performing and visual arts. The council provides scholarships annually to high school students perusing an education in the arts. Veronica received a $500 award at the Annual Awards Ceremony and reception held by the council at Long Island High School for the Arts.

“I am extremely proud of Veronica Sack for receiving this scholarship. It is a wonderful opportunity for our seniors to be able to showcase their talents and then be rewarded for their outstanding work,” said Farmingdale High School Principal, Glen Zakian.

Veronica and the other scholarship winners were recognized for their achievements and presented with their awards at the ceremony. Along with the other scholarship winners, the winners of the Town of Oyster Bay and Town of Oyster Bay Arts Council Talent show were acknowledged.
