FARMINGDALE, NY--Farmingdale State College and Nassau Community College announced a major joint admissions program on Tuesday. The partnership is designed to make it significantly easier for NCC students to get on the path towards earning a baccalaureate degree. It is the largest ever agreement between the two schools, and the program will officially begin with the fall 2019 semester.

Nassau ranks as the second largest feeder school for transfers to Farmingdale, as the college sent 329 students to Farmingdale last fall. The number is nearly 24 percent of all Farmingdale transfer students.

"Farmingdale State College and Nassau Community College have long worked together in the interests of our students and this agreement reinforces that strong relationship," Farmingdale President John Nader said via release. "We look forward to making them feel at home."
