Voters Approve Farmingdale School Budget, Board Members Elected

Farmingdale residents headed to the polls Tuesday.

Farmingdale residents approved a 2016-17 school budget on Tuesday.

The $158,880,867 budget was approved by a margin of 1,622-443. The budget is a 0.97 percent increase in spending over the current year and it comes with a 0.17 percent tax levy increase.

Voters also elected the following two candidates to the Farmingdale Board of Education:
