Farmingdale Science Olympiads Win 11 Medals
Farmingdale High School Team Shines During Regional Science Competition
The Farmingdale School District recently celebrated the accomplishments of the Farmingdale High School Science Olympiad team, which recently won 11 medals at the Nassau East Regional Competition. Their victory continues the Farmingdale School District’s trajectory of success in the sciences on a local, state and national level.
Science Olympiad students won medals in the following categories: Microbiology; Forensics; Fermi Questions; Electric vehicle; Ecology; Game Design; Herpetology; Technical Writing and Epidemiology. Medal-winning students included: Tyler Looney; Selina Nguyen; Uroobba Abid; Becky O’Rourke; John Lowenhaupt; Tim Ho; Pat Fox; Lily Coffin; Emma Craig; Maria Santos; Meghan Kane; Noah Kramer; Aidan Piraino; Chris Masterson; Jake Simmans; Sandhya Rapelli; Tom Geddes; Britney Pham; Aadil Khan; Anthony Bhasin and Valerie Pasion.
