Farmingdale State College To Host 'Virtual Open House'
The college's first-ever "Virtual Open House" for prospective students comes as a result of the new coronavirus.

FARMINGDALE, NY — Farmingdale State College, in a sure sign of the times, will host its first-ever "Virtual Open House" for prospective students. The event is scheduled for Sunday, April 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The shift from in-person to virtual is a direct result of the new coronavirus.
By starting on the Farmingdale State College website, interested students can take a virtual campus tour and attend online sessions conducted by staff and faculty of the Schools of Health Sciences, Business, Engineering Technology, and Liberal Arts & Sciences. They will discuss the college’s selection of degree programs and answer questions about Certificate programs, as well as Associate, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.
Webinars on financial aid, admissions, nursing, dental hygiene, transfer services, and aviation will address tuition and fees; job opportunities and credit-bearing internships, in addition to graduation statistics, campus activities and more.
