Farmingdale Students Raise Money for School with Plant Sale

Albany Avenue Elementary School Students and Parent Teacher Association Sell Hundreds of Plants

Farmingdale School District students at Albany Avenue Elementary School and Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) members recently raised money to support school programs with a school-wide plant sale. During the plant sale students and teachers selected a wide variety of spring plants, including pansies, tulips, daffodils, ferns, cacti to buy. The sale was timed to coordinate with Mother’s Day so students could purchase something for the loved women in their lives.
