FARMINGDALE, NY — Fall is here! That means apple picking, pumpkin-flavored lattes and craft beers, brisk weather, and an array of seasonal events in Farmingdale Village.

Here is a list:

• Columbus Weekend Fair - Halloween Parade, Pony Rides, Petting Zoo/Family Fun on the Green - Culper Spy Ring Lecture/Book Signing & more. From Oct. 7 through 10.
• Breakfast Rotary Doggie Parade, Runway Show and Blessing of the Dogs, Saturday, Oct. 8 at 10 a.m.
• Youth Open Mic Night - Friday, Oct. 21, 7 p.m.
• Culper Spy Ring Lecture/Book Signing featuring Bill Bleyer – Sunday, Oct. 23, 2 p.m.
• Farmingdale Halloween Parade, Family Fun - Pony Rides, Petting Zoo - Saturday, Oct. 29, at 2 p.m.
• Farmers Market On the Village Green by Schneider's Farm, held weekly on Sundays through Nov. 20, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Save the Date: Start planning your creations! 9th Annual Long Island Gingerbread House Contest - Saturday, Dec. 10, noon – 4 p.m.
