High Tide Taco Bar Voted Best Tex-Mex Restaurant On LI: 'It Feels Great'

FARMINGDALE, NY — High Tide Taco Bar was voted best Tex-Mex restaurant on Long Island in the 2023 Bethpage Best of LI Awards.
The taco bar is at 257 Main St., Farmingdale.
"It feels great," Jeff Rumman, the owner, told Patch. "It’s good to know the hard work is getting noticed."

High Tide Taco Bar serves tacos, vegan tacos, appetizers, burritos, rice bowls, margaritas, beer, and other drinks. It's the different offerings that Rumman said sets High Tide apart from other taco places.
"Variety is the spice of life," he said. "We have something for everyone whether you’re vegan, vegetarian or just really hungry. If you want tacos, you can mix and match so the customer can have our signature High Tide Taco with steak and shrimp in one hand and a Mac Daddy Taco, which is like eating a Big Mac on steroids, in the other hand."
