Farmingdale's Lotus Restaurant Catches Fire

FARMINGDALE, NY — Lotus Restaurant, a Chinese and Japanese eatery, caught fire on Thursday morning. Local firefighters responded to the restaurant, at 345 Conklin St., at 10:53 a.m., Nassau police said.
No injuries were reported as of 1 p.m., police said.
Video shared by Nassau County Fire Service Academy to Facebook shows fire and smoke billowing from the roof of Lotus.
