FHS Competition Cheer Team Wins Nassau Championship!

The Farmingdale High School competition cheer team won the Nassau County Division 1 large team Championship!

On Sunday, March 1, 2020, the Farmingdale High School competition cheer team won the Nassau County Division 1 large team Championship! It was held at Hofstra University.

“The girls were absolutely amazing!” said coach Caitlin Weinsheimer. “They hit a perfect routine and scored the highest they have all season—a 90.05 out of 100!”

The team will head to Rochester, NY this weekend to compete at the New York State Championship, to be held March 7, 2020 at Rochester Institute of Technology.
