Fundraiser Started For Farmingdale Family Who Lost Home in Thanksgiving Night Fire
The family also lost their dog in the fire.
An East Farmingdale resident recently started a fundraising campaign to help her neighbors whose home was destroyed in a fire on Thanksgiving night.
A fire broke out at the home of Keith and Katie Maloney, on Walnut Avenue on Thursday at about 6:08 p.m.
Luckily, the couple, who have two little children, were not home at the time. However, they unfortunately lost their family dog.

That same day, their neighbor Melanie Horan started a campaign on GoFundMe to raise money for the family.
"We are asking our Daler family and friends to come together to help rebuild the Maloney home and their possessions," she wrote on the page. "Our thoughts are prayers are with the Maloney family during this time."

The goal of the page is to raise a total of $25,000. As of Monday, the page has raised $14,883.
