Garage Fire Blazes In Farmingdale

A garage fire broke out in East Farmingdale early Friday. The East Farmingdale Volunteer Fire Company responded.

FARMINGDALE, NY—A fire broke out in the garage of an East Farmingdale home on Friday, the East Farmingdale Volunteer Fire Company shared on its Facebook.

Around 12:23 a.m., a fully involved detached garage fire broke on Jefferson Street off of Lincoln Avenue.

Engine 1-5-6 responded first and knocked down the fire. The fire was contained to the garage with the assistance of multiple engines, a ladder company, the ambulance, fire police, support and assistant chiefs. Chief of Department Joe Iuzzini commanded all units.
