Garage Goes Up In Flames In Bethpage
The fire extended into the first and second floors of the home.

BETHPAGE, NY — A Maple Avenue home's garage went up in flames on Thursday night in Bethpage.
Bethpage fire - Engine 44 & Ladder 4 responded at 9:33 p.m. The first car that arrived noticed visible smoke. The garage was completely ablaze, with fire extending to the home's first and second floors.
Fortunately, the fire was doused quickly due to the work of multiple crews.

Engine 44 was first in and dropped two lines and proceeded to a hydrant, while the Engine 77 crew manned the second line and provided two additional lines for the crew of Engine 5.
No injuries were reported, and the family made it out of the home safely. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
