Girl, 8, Injured After Car Crashes Into Farmingdale Subway Shop

The girl was cut by flying glass. No arrests were made, police say.

FARMINGDALE, NY — An 8-year-old girl was injured after a car burst through the wall of a Subway sandwich shop in Farmingdale on Saturday.

The car obliterated the storefront at 47-3 Boundary Avenue at 1:44 p.m. The girl was cut by flying glass, the Bethpage Fire Department confirmed to Fully Involved Media Group. The girl suffered a head injury when a table was pushed up against her, sources told Fully Involved Media Group. She was brought to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver was not arrested, Nassau County Police Department P.I.O. told Patch.
