FARMINGDALE, NY - Good news for all those adding "eating healthy" to their new year's resolution -- a new healthy eatery is set to open in Farmingdale next month.
CoreLife Eatery will be opening its first Long Island restaurant at 207 Airport Plaza on Jan. 11. The grand opening event will take place from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The franchise, which has locations in Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Utah and upstate New York, will be replacing Noodles & Company, which closed down last year.

The restaurant will offer a variety of bowls and "plates," which include large portions of protein, roasted vegetables, and filling sides.
“There is bread on our menu, but all of our entrees are gluten-free,” Ryan Monahan, who is opening the franchise with partners Michael Morash and Michael Stallone, told Newsday. “There is such a demand for this type of food, and little supply.”
