FARMINGDALE, NY — A pizzeria closure on Fulton Street didn't keep the Italian food staple off the road for long.

Jocy's Pizza has opened at 533 Fulton St., Farmingdale, swiftly replacing Pizzeria Lucero's Corp after its closure.

The new pizzeria is slinging pies and slices both traditional and experimental. At Jocy's Pizza, people can try the "Upside Down Pizza," which sees fresh mozzarella placed underneath red sauce and on an olive oil Sicilian crust. Another unorthodox offering is "The Honey Pep Pizza," which consists of pepperoni, Mike's hot honey drizzle & basil on a Sicilian crust.
