Patch: Tell us a bit about your business or organization:
Brian Corso: Mosquito Brothers is a veteran-owned Long Island company specializing in mosquito and tick control for homeowners. We focus on helping families enjoy their yards more comfortably through a straightforward, hassle-free approach, strong customer service, and carefully planned treatment programs tailored to Nassau and Suffolk County.

Patch: How long have you been doing business in town?
Brian Corso: Mosquito Brothers has been serving the community for 6 years, providing homeowners with professional mosquito and tick control backed by dependable service and a strong commitment to customer care.

Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?
Brian Corso: What brought me into this line of work was heartbreak. In 2019, my wife was battling a terminal brain tumor and going through surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, and other treatments that left her skin extremely irritated and sensitive. We had a beautiful backyard in Smithtown, but on the nicest days, when all she wanted was to sit by the pool or enjoy a quiet meal outside, we often couldn’t because of the mosquitoes. Even a single bite could cause severe irritation and lead to urgent medical care. I tried everything — products from big box stores and nurseries — but none of them worked. Finally, I hired a mosquito and tick control company, and it made a world of difference. We were able to enjoy our yard again. That experience stayed with me. In 2020, I started Mosquito Brothers to help other families enjoy their yards and protect the people and pets they love.

Patch: What's the most common piece of advice you give to customers?
Brian Corso: Life is short, and memories are precious. Financial obligations will always be there, but the time you have to enjoy your family, your pets, and your backyard is something you do not get back. I often tell customers not to wait too long to hire a mosquito and tick control company, because when you put it off, you are not only losing valuable time outdoors, you may also be putting your family at greater risk of mosquito- and tick-borne diseases.

Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?
Brian Corso: The most satisfying part of my job is knowing I can solve their problem. So many customers come to us after trying everything on their own, just like I once did, and nothing worked. I know that frustration personally. It is also incredibly heartfelt when I arrive at a customer’s home and hear the children playing in the pool, running around the swing set, and simply being kids outside. There is something deeply satisfying about seeing children be children and families enjoying their yard the way they should. That is when I know we are making a real difference.

Patch: How would you say your business or organization distinguishes itself from the others?
