Long Island Will Make a Splash For National Drinking Water Week

Long Island Water Conference Hosts 31st Annual “Best Tasting Water” Contest

WHAT: The Long Island Water Conference (LIWC) will host over two-dozen Long Island water suppliers as they go head-to-head, competing for the title of “Best Tasting Water.” In honor of National Drinking Water Week, the community is invited to taste test at Farmingdale State College to celebrate the high quality water supply delivered to Long Island homes daily.

The LIWC invites all residents of Long Island to sample several water providers’ entries from Nassau and Suffolk County and cast their votes for their favorite. Water professionals and members of the LIWC will help collect ballots and educate voters about their water supply. Presentation Boards with water facts will be on display.
