Man Barricades Himself In Suffolk Home: Police

EAST FARMINGDALE, NY — A man barricaded himself in his East Farmingdale home on Tuesday, Suffolk police said.

Police were called to Walnut Avenue East around 11:30 a.m. An adult family member was escorted from the home by officers, police said. The man who barricaded himself was taken into custody around 3:40 p.m. and brought to a hospital for evaluation, police said.
