We’re Dragonfly Cares, a group of providers offering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Speech-Language Therapy across Long Island. Our goal is to support children as well as the caregivers around them, while emphasizing community engagement and transparency. Our goal from the start has been to create a supportive network and uplifting environment for the families and therapists we work with. No more one-size fits all models, we provide more and always will. Each group is led by a BCBA and includes 1:1 support from a trained behavior technician. Groups are thoughtfully formed based on each child’s individual needs and skill sets. It’s a wonderful opportunity for your child to build social skills, communication, and more—all in a fun and supportive environment! SOUTH FARMINGDALE, NY — A man was killed in a South Farmingdale crash early Sunday, Nassau police said.Gary Yander, 50, of South Farmingdale was driving westbound in a 2008 Cadillac on Motor Avenue when he struck multiple fixed objects near Merritts Road at 4:48 a.m., detectives said. Yander suffered trauma injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by a police medic. Police are investigating.
