Man Robbed Nassau Convenience Store By Stealing Cash Register: PD
Police say the robber stole the cash register after the clerk fled the store.
Nassau County police are searching for a man who robbed a Farmingdale convenience store Tuesday night by stealing the cash register.
According to police, the man entered the 7-Eleven at 150 Main St. just after 8:20 p.m. He jumped over the counter, pushed the 38-year-old man working there and demand he open the register. The employee fled the store while the robber took the cash register and fled on foot north on Main Street.
Police say they later recovered the cash register in the parking lot of 117 Main St. No one was injured.

The robber was about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 170 pounds. He was wearing a black mask, black gloves, a grey hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants and white sneakers.
Police are asking anyone with information about this robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous, and you could receive a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
