Man Robs Suffolk Bank: Police

The man jumped over the counter and demanded cash from a teller, police say.

EAST FARMINGDALE, NY — An East Farmingdale bank was robbed on Sunday afternoon, Suffolk police said.

A man entered TD Bank, at 90 Broadhollow Road, around 12:35 p.m., police said. He jumped over the counter and demanded cash from a teller, police said. The teller gave him the money, and the man ran away, police said.

Police described the man as black, between 5 feet 11 inches and 6 feet tall, wearing dark clothes and a mask.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call the Major Case Unit at 631-852-6553 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
