Man Seriously Injured in East Farmingdale Crash With Box Truck
A pickup truck veered into oncoming traffic and collided with a box truck Tuesday night, police said.
A 39-year-old Babylon man was seriously injured after police say his pickup truck crashed into a box truck Tuesday night in East Farmingdale.
According to authorities, the crash occurred when the Ford F350 pickup truck was traveling northbound on Wellwood Avenue and veered into oncoming traffic at 8:05 p.m.
The pickup truck driver, Brian Cannetti, was taken to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the box truck, Gerard Barsh, 45, was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip to be evaluated.
Motor Carrier Safety Section officers inspected both vehicles.
