Man Steals $91K Worth Of Silver Bars In East Farmingdale: Police

The man displayed a fake ID and stole a package from the customer service center at UPS containing silver bars, police say.

EAST FARMINGDALE, NY — A man stole tens of thousands of dollars worth of silver at an East Farmingdale business in November, police said, and the Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding him.

A man displayed false identification and stole a package from the customer service center at UPS, located at 75 Smith Street, around 9:20 a.m. Nov. 12, police said. The package contained approximately $91K worth of silver bars, police said. The man drove away in a dark-colored
vehicle, police said. He is wanted for grand larceny.
