Man Who Robbed Farmingdale Bank Arrested: Police

The man was arrested on Friday afternoon after he demanded cash from a teller on Wednesday, police say.

FARMINGDALE, NY — The man who Suffolk police said robbed a Farmingdale bank on Wednesday was arrested on Friday.

Alexander Almonte Cabrera, 21, of Farmingdale, was arrested in Levittown at 3:40 p.m. and charged with third-degree robbery. He will be held overnight at the Third Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Saturday.

Police said he entered TD Bank, at 90 Broadhollow Road, on Wednesday and handed a teller a note demanding cash, police said. The teller complied and Almote Cabrera ran away, police said.
