Nassau Couple Robbed At Gunpoint While Walking Their Dog
Police say they were approached by the armed robber in the back parking lot of an apartment complex.

A couple was robbed at gunpoint in Farmingdale while walking their dog Friday night, police say.
According to police, a 21-year-old man and his 20-year-old girlfriend were walking a dog in the back parking lot of the Fairfield apartment complex, located at 675 Conklin St., when they were approached by a man who pulled out a silver handgun. The robber pointed it at the man and took a chain from his neck. The robber then fled on foot towards Conklin Street.
The robber was a black man, 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing a dark blue jacket, dark pants and an aquamarine-colored mask partially covering his face.

Police ask anyone with information about this robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous, and you could receive a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
