Nassau Police Report: Week of December 8
Check out the recent crimes and arrests reported near the Farmingdale area.

Nassau County Police released the crime report for the week of Dec. 8 to Dec. 15.
Check out the following incidents and arrests near the Farmingdale area over the past week as reported by police:
- Nov. 25: A 19-year-old Copaigue man was arrested for shoplifting from the Sears store at the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa.
- Nov. 30: A person reported that someone stole seven rolls of Grifflen fire proofing material from the roof top on Old Country Road in Old Bethpage.
- Dec. 5: A 19-year-old Hicksville man was arrested for shoplifting from Starbucks at the Broadway Mall in Hicksville.
- Dec. 8: A woman reported that someone damaged her car while it was parked at the City MD Urgent Care on Jericho Turnpike in Syosset.
- Dec. 8: A woman reported that someone stole her unattended sunglasses from the table at the Sake Asian restaurant on Broadway in Massapequa.
- Dec. 8: An 18-year-old Wyandanch woman was arrested for shoplifting from the JC Penney store at the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa.
- Dec. 9: A woman reported that someone damaged her car with an unknown substance while it was parked at The Plaza 400 Office Building on S. Oyster Bay Road in Hicksville.
- Dec. 9: A woman reported that someone stole her 11 foot inflatable Hanukkah decoration from the front of her home on Manetto Drive in Plainview.
- Dec. 10: A 36-year-old Elmhurst man was arrested for shoplifting from a Macy's store in the Broadway Mall in Hicksville.
- Dec. 13: A 45-year-old Islip man was arrested for shoplifting from Target in the Broadway Mall in Hicksville.
