New York Ranks Among The Most Charitable States
Check out where New York ranks among the most philanthropic states in the U.S.

It looks like New Yorkers are not only charitable on "Giving Tuesday."
New York was recently ranked No. 15 among the most charitable states in the U.S., according to a study by WalletHub.
In order to determine the most philanthropic states, WalletHub compared the 50 states on the amount of people who volunteer as well as how much money was donated to charity.

Each state was given a score and then ranked based on those scores.

Utah was ranked as the most charitable state.
New York received a "volunteering and service" rank of 33 and a "charitable giving rank" of 6.
