Passenger Seriously Injured After Driver Crashes Into Tree: Cops
The driver was arrested for something unrelated to the crash, but police are investigating. The passenger was seriously injured: police.

EAST FARMINGDALE, NY — A man got into a car crash in East Farmingdale that seriously injured a passenger on Monday, per the Suffolk County Police Department.
Fritz Andral, 25, of Farmingdale, was driving a 2008 Honda sedan southbound on Baiting Place Road when he left the road and crashed into a tree at 10:15 p.m., police said.
Jean Dorcine, 22, of Farmingdale, who was sitting in the front passenger seat, was seriously injured and brought to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip.

Andral was transported to the same hospital, treated for minor injuries, and released. A woman in the backseat was not injured. The Honda was impounded for a safety check.
Andral was arrested for outstanding warrants unrelated to the crash. He was held overnight at the First Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Tuesday, July 23.
