Person Found Unconscious After Breathing Unknown Chemical In East Farmingdale

EAST FARMINGDALE, NY - A person was hospitalized after becoming unconscious from breathing an unknown chemical on Tuesday morning in East Farmingdale.

Members of the East Farmingdale Fire Department responded to a report of an unconscious patient at 11:45 a.m.

Firefighters found a person with difficulty breathing after inhaling the chemical.

The person was taken to a local hospital. No other injuries were reported.

The Wyandanch Volunteer Fire Company was called to the scene which was eventually turned over to the Town of Babylon Fire Marshals Office.
