PETA's 'iScream' Truck To Hand Out Free Vegan Ice Cream In Farmingdale On Sunday

FARMINGDALE, NY — PETA's "iScream" truck will stop in Farmingdale on Sunday, offering free vegan ice cream during the Farmingdale Craft & Gift Fair.

In addition to free samples, visitors can participate in games, challenges, and a prize wheel.

The nonprofit's traveling truck is making stops across the country this summer to promote vegan ice cream and raise awareness of its animal welfare mission.

According to PETA, the dairy-free treats can also provide an alternative for people who are lactose intolerant or have dairy allergies.

The truck will be at 361 Main Street in Farmingdale at 12 p.m. on Sunday, June 28.

PETA President Tracy Reiman encouraged residents to stop by and try the free ice cream.

"The only thing sweeter than PETA's vegan ice cream is knowing that no animals were harmed in the making of it," she said.
