Search On For Smoke Shop Burglar: Police

SOUTH FARMINGDALE, NY. — A burglar is still at large Tuesday after he broke into a South Farmingdale smoke shop to steal cash and vapes early Monday morning, police said.

Nassau County police said the unidentified man used a metal object to break the glass door into Evergreen Smoke Shop at 3:20 a.m. Monday, at which point he entered the store and took an unknown amount of cash and vapes. The store’s cash register was found thrown to the ground, and the man fled the scene, police said.

Police said the man was wearing a dark hoodie at the time of the incident, and said an investigation into the burglary is ongoing.
