The first big snowstorm of the year is hitting Long Island today. According to the National Weather Service, some parts of the island are expected to get over a foot of snow on Thursday.
As you head out today to run some needed errands, play with your kids or just bask in the glory that is winter, grab your camera. Take a few pictures. Then when you're done making memories, share those memories with Patch.
