Suffolk Police Seeking Info About Arson At East Farmingdale Home

A Lincoln Avenue home under construction was set on fire just before 4 a.m. on April 3, cops say.

EAST FARMINGDALE, NY — Suffolk police are looking for information about a fire that was deliberately set at a home in East Farmingdale house last week.

Police said an unknown person or group entered a Lincoln Avenue home under construction just before 4 a.m. on April 3 and set fire to it. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, according to police. The fire has been classified arson.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. Detectives are asking anyone with information to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, a confidential police hotline, by using a mobile app that can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips.
