Summer Events Returning To Farmingdale

FARMINGDALE, NY — Summer events are back in Farmingdale Village.
From the farmers market to movies and music, Dalers once again have fun things to look forward to, as coronavirus infections have sharply declined.
Here is what residents can look forward to:

- Farmers Market by Schneider's Farm: Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Nov. 21 on the Village Green. Browse produce, vegetables, treats and more.
- Farmingdale Village Pops: Wednesdays in July (July 14, 21 and 28) at 7:30 p.m. Enjoy music under the stars on the Village Green with Brad DeMilo and the Farmingdale Village Pops. Bring family, friends; chairs and blankets for seating. Concerts are weather permitting with free admission. Residents are encouraged to dine and shop downtown.
- Movies On the Village Green: Tuesdays (July 20 and 27; Aug. 3, 10, 17 and 24). The movies are set to start at dusk and will be preceded by cartoons. Specific movie titles will be announced soon, according to the village. Residents are encouraged to bring family, friends, food/snacks, chairs/blankets for seating. Movie nights are weather permitting with free admission.
- Farmingdale Music On Main: Thursdays (Aug. 5 and 19, 5 to 9 p.m.). Downtown along Main Street. People can enjoy music along Main Street downtown, outdoor and open-air dining, activities for the kids, and more. Weather permitting with a rain date of Aug. 26. Sponsored by Farmingdale Business Improvement District, Farmingdale Village Merchants Association, Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce.
