Free Food! Taim Restaurant Opening In Farmingdale, Offers 1-Day Deal
Free entrees will be served on Wednesday for anyone who wants to taste test the new Mediterranean eatery's menu.
FARMINGDALE, NY — Taim Restaurant is opening in Farmingdale on Wednesday, and those who want to try the Mediterranean place's new eats are in luck: The restaurant is offering free entrees upon opening. The one rule? Just show up and eat.
Taim is at 1024 Broadhollow Road, Farmingdale. The opening is set to last 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Farmingdale location is the first of two restaurants planned on Long Island and Taim's 16th overall. Another free food event will be held when Taim opens in Plainview.

Taim offers a choice between a pita or bowl topped with a main choice of falafel, meatballs, cauliflower shawarma, eggplant, chicken shawarma or impossible kebabs. Customers can then add toppings and sauces.
Taim first opened in New York City's West Village, bringing Mediterranean flavors to the founders' hometown. The restaurant now has stores in the city, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
