TCC opening new store in Farmingdale, donating thousands to local nonprofits
Largest Verizon Authorized Retailer awarding $1,000, $3,000 and $5,000 to three local nonprofits based on community votes

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. (Oct. 19, 2016) –TCC, the largest Verizon Authorized Retailer in the U.S., announces today the opening of its new store in Farmingdale, New York, located at 1280 Broadhollow Road, Suite E.
In celebration of TCC’s grand opening, the company has selected five local nonprofits that are eligible to win either $1,000, $3,000 or $5,000. Three winning organizations will be chosen based on community votes.

· Long Island Children’s Choir
To vote for an organization, members of the local community can visit TCCRocks.com, click on their local TCC Grand Opening page, and choose the organization name they wish to vote for. Voting begins Monday, Oct. 24 and ends on Monday, Nov. 7 at 11:59 p.m. (EST). On Friday, Nov. 18 at noon, winners will be announced and presented their donations during the new Farmingdale TCC store’s ribbon cutting ceremony. All community members are invited to attend.

TCC makes ongoing investments in the communities in which it does business through its Culture of Good. In 2016, TCC’s efforts have included giving supply packs to 5,000 teachers, contributing $100,000 in grants to organizations focused on improving the environment and donating 135,000 backpacks to children across the nation. TCC’s outstanding workplace culture and philanthropic contributions were recently recognized in three different national and regional award programs.
