Teacher Of The Week: Mrs. Debra McAuley

FARMINGDALE, NY — Everybody has a favorite teacher — maybe it's a teacher who went out of their way to make one student's day or a teacher who brightens up a classroom every day.

One teacher who deserves a shout-out is Mrs. Debra McAuley, a teacher at Albany Avenue Elementary School in the Farmingdale School District. She was nominated as this week's Teacher of the Week by Janice Keller.

"She goes above and beyond for her Kindergarten student," Keller said of McAuley. "She is truly invested in each child and their families."
