VOLUNTEER SPIRIT EXTENDED TO THE YOUNGEST AND OLDEST IN OUR COMMUNITY

Women's Club of Farmingdale members visit seniors and pre-schoolers in the community

Recently members of the Women's Club of Farmingdale helped "Mimi" celebrate her 102nd birthday at the Farmingdale Adult Day Care Center.  Farmingdale Village Mayor, Ralph Ekstrand, presented Mimi with a proclamation from the Village in honor of this auspicious occasion.  Together with Rosemary Emigholz and Anna Ievolo, co-presidents, Madeline Bondietti and Dolores Cianciabella, spent a few hours recently reading books to the children of the Farmingdale Methodist Church Pre-School Program.  "Top O' the Morning" and "O Danny Boy" certainly abounded when members of the WCF and St. Kilian's Choir brought smiles and the "lilt of Irish" voices to the seniors at the Farmingdale Adult Day Care Center.
