Voting Open For Farmingdale Halloween House Contest
Check out a GPS link to all of the spooky houses nominated in Farmingdale and cast your vote. People were encouraged to explore in person.

FARMINGDALE, NY — If you love to go sightseeing for the spookiest houses in the area during Halloween time, you may enjoy the opportunity to vote in the Farmingdale Halloween House Decorating Contest.
Nominees for the contest are in. Walter Priestley, a village trustee who launched the contest, shared a GPS map that will lead people to all the scary homes in Farmingdale for people to vote on.
To vote, email the home's address to Priestley at wpriestley@farmingdalevillage.com. Each person can cast one vote. Voting opened on Tuesday and will last until Halloween.

"Great job Dalers, the houses look amazing this year," Priestley wrote on Facebook. "It's great to see that Farmingdale spirit!"

The approximate drive time to see all the homes is roughly 45 minutes, but Priestley suggested budgeting 90 minutes to get out of the car, walk around and get the full effect of the Halloween decorations.
Prizes will be awarded as the winner's choice of a Farmingdale Village business.
The prizes are:
- 1st Place: $100.
- 2nd Place: $75.
- 3rd Place: $50.
